Macna Chieftane Moto Jacket
Description
- EXO RISC™
- Night Eye™
- Easy Cuff™
The ultimate 3-layer jacket, fully loaded with differentiators, meant for adventurers and tourers that want to brave all riding conditions.
The Chieftane consists of detachable layers that are attached to the outer shell by our in-house developed Easy Cuff™. This system makes use of zips instead of loops and snaps, which prevents loose, floating layers inside your jacket. The waterproof membrane is detachable, as is the thermal liner that can also be worn as stand-alone garment.
The loops you do find in this jacket are part of the Electric Power Guide™, or EPG for short. This differentiator lets you comfortably run cables through the inside of your jacket when powering e-heated garments such as gloves.
Ventilation is present in abundance. The chest features big panels, and the arms are fitted with a large zipper at the front and one at the back of the upper arm. The back of the jacket also has a large panel so air can find its way through easily.
Another differentiator in the outer shell is fabric covered with microscopic dishes that reflect light back to its source. Night Eye™ makes you better visible when it really matters without making you look like a road worker or traffic sign.
The back features a Hydro Pocket and an integrated kidney belt made of TPR, the same material the backpack reinforcements at the shoulders are made of. A membrane deteriorates faster when a backpack is worn, which is prevented by the reinforcements. At the elbow we’ve fitted a new protective element based on our interior impact protectors. We named it EXO RISC™.
Our RISC™ level 2 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. RISC™ back and chest protectors are separately available and can be placed in the designated compartment with ease. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing a back protector.
If all of this isn’t enough, this jacket is also prepared for additional differentiators. At the upper back, you’ll find a pocket for our Vision 2C led light. The chest features two buckles to which our Vision Tech vest can be attached. The vest will stay in place when putting on or taking off the jacket.
The Chieftane is what we call adventurous riding gear!

All mentioned sizes are an indication. When, while measuring the different circumferences, different sizes are measured, the garment should be chosen in the largest size measured.
For example: if you measure size Medium at the waist and hips, but Large at the chest, it is recommended to go for the Large size.
We recommend making sure your gear has a snug fit. Sizing up might be comfortable when riding, but it’s also unsafe in case of an accident. Your local MACNA retailer is able to assist you in finding the perfect fit.
A. CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE
Measure the chest circumference at the widest point. The person should be standing, breathing normally, and keeping his arms at his/her sides.
B. WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE
Measure the waist circumference at the navel.
C. HIP CIRCUMFERENCE
Measure the circumference at the widest point of the pelvis itself, at the most protruding part of the buttocks, or at the most protruding part of the hips if the hips are more pronounced than the buttocks.
D. INSEAM LENGTH
Measure the distance between the groin and the ankle bone.
